Dr. Andrew Schroeder is a board-certified vascular surgeon at VIS Omaha, specializing in peripheral vascular interventions with a focus on limb salvage and vein treatment.
About Dr. Schroeder
Dr. Schroeder completed his integrated vascular surgery residency and fellowship at the University of Rochester and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University, where he was elected vice-president of the Sigma Sigma Phi Honors Fraternity. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame Honors Program and a post-baccalaureate premedical certificate from Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Schroeder is certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery. He has a particular interest in peripheral vascular interventions for limb salvage, venous procedures, minimally-invasive aneurysm repair, and carotid artery disease for stroke prevention. He takes a holistic approach to patient care and serves patients across the Omaha clinic and outreach locations in Iowa and Nebraska.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Schroeder enjoys spending time with his family. He loves coaching, playing and/or watching just about any sport imaginable, especially when it involves the St. Louis Cardinals and University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
