How Our Technology Improves Patient Care
Vascular diseases can now be effectively screened for and diagnosed using various technological advancements. These advancements in technology — including non-invasive tests and ultrasounds — help to reduce the risk of complications associated with late diagnoses, and provide a more comprehensive understanding of patients' health status, enabling them to receive appropriate treatment and support for their condition. With these tools from Vascular & Interventional Specialists, patients can receive a more accurate and timely diagnosis, helping to improve their overall health outcomes.

Our Commitment to Cutting-Edge Technology
What makes our Vascular & Interventional Specialists facilities different is how we operate as an office-based lab (OBL). This is a type of clinic that provides patients with everything they need — including exams, diagnosis, and treatment for certain conditions within a physician’s office setting. Not only are our vascular specialists able to provide compassionate care in an environment that’s more comfortable than a hospital, but we also utilize state-of-the-art techniques and medical equipment. Some of our available scans and tests include:
- Carotid Artery Ultrasound
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Ultrasound
- Ankle/Brachial Index
- Vein Reflux
This all translates to non-surgical or minimally invasive treatment options for our patients; same-day procedures and quick recovery are features Vascular & Interventional Specialists is excited to bring to members of the Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota communities.
What Vascular Disease Patients Can Expect
Vascular & Interventional Specialists' patients can expect nothing less than care from the moment they walk into our facility doors. After your initial screening with our vascular specialists, we will recommend a form of treatment based on what your unique concerns and medical status are. Our professional staff will explain their findings from the screening and make their professional and provide next steps on how to continue care. Regardless of where you are in the process — where it is before your procedure, during, or after — Vascular & Interventional Specialists always puts the comfort and safety of our patients first.
Remember to bring your insurance card, medications list, wallet, and glasses case to your procedure appointment and ensure someone is available to take you home. Our vascular specialists will take it from there and will answer any questions patients may have about the procedure and how it will work. You will wake up from the procedure after everything is finished and will be taken to a suite in our facility to recover.
